The latest released version is 1.23.0, and that is the one you download from the home page. Below are all the ones released before it.

How to do it

Follow the order exactly as it is: it keeps you from ending up halfway through with neither the app nor this page.

1. 1

   Write down the number of the version you are using now.

   You find it on the app's main screen, in green under the title. You need it to know where you are coming down from.

2. 2

   From this page, tap "Download" on the version you need.

   When the phone asks whether to open the file, say no. For now it just has to stay in your Downloads.

3. 3

   Now uninstall KF Mirror from the phone.

   You cannot skip this step: Android refuses to install an older version over a newer one.

4. 4

   Open the file you downloaded and install it.

   You find it again in the phone's Downloads. If it asks for permission to install apps from this source, give it.

The versions

• Version 1.22.0 September 22, 2026 Not available

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES 1) The developer switches the diagnosis on before you send it. When you tap «Send diagnostics», the app shows you your bike code and asks you to write it in the Telegram group together with the problem. The developer switches the sending on for your bike, and at the next tap the app sends the file. 🧩 PLUGINS No new plugins. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The app shows a circle in the middle of the screen while it sends the diagnosis. Before, the notice was at the bottom of the page and often you could not see it. 2) The diagnosis tells better what happens when the bike display stops showing the mirroring. Now it also records which Bluetooth devices were connected to the phone, what the WiFi was doing and whether the bike kept sending data. 3) The app explains in a shorter and clearer way what to answer when the phone asks to use the bike WiFi network for the Internet as well.   ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🧩 PLUGINS 1) New plugin: remaining fuel range. You find it in the ☰ menu, under "Premium plugins". A yellow box on the bike display shows you how far you can still go on the fuel you have. The bike calculates the value, and it changes with the way you ride. You can move the yellow box with your finger on the phone screen, and see in real time where it sits on the bike display. The box stays on the bike display even when you darken the phone screen. You can choose between kilometres and miles. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The app writes the "Send diagnostics" file with some internal fixes.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES 1) The dark screen is now safer in your pocket. To turn it back on, tap five times in the same spot, with one finger. Then the "Unlock the screen" button appears: if you do not tap it within three seconds, the screen stays locked. This makes it much harder for the phone to unlock the screen by itself in your pocket. 🧩 PLUGINS 1) The ☰ menu has a new page, "Premium plugins": each plugin adds a feature to the app. The first plugin is the speed warning. With the slider you set the limit you do not want to exceed, for example the limit of the road you are riding on. When you go past it, a red and amber band flashes for three seconds at the top of the bike display, with "LIMIT EXCEEDED" and the limit you set: you notice it without taking your eyes off the road. If you stay above it, the warning comes back every eight seconds. The warning starts off: you turn it on. If your bike display is in miles, choose "mph". 2) If you were already using KF Mirror, the speed warning is a gift for one month. If you install the app now, you can try it for free, then unlock it from the plugin's box. The unlock is tied to the bike, and when it expires the app charges you nothing. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) ⚠️ KF Mirror signs its own copies. Every APK contains an encrypted signature with the author's name — Federico Bergna, developer of KF Mirror — and the version number. Nobody can read that signature. A repackaged copy loses it, and KF Mirror notices: at every start it shows full screen that the copy is not the original. I look at the other mirroring apps for the bike. When a KF Mirror solution turns up inside one of them, I notice. KF Mirror's code is not free: nobody may reuse it without permission. 2) The app prepares the video and writes the "Send diagnostics" file with some internal fixes. 3) If the bike stops sending its data, the app notices and tries to fix it on its own. When this happens the speed warning cannot go off, because the speed comes from the bike. The app now rebuilds the Bluetooth connection by itself, up to three times, and you don't have to do anything: the bike display keeps showing your phone screen without interruption.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES 1) The sliders that fit the image to the bike display now sit on top of the other apps, together with the button that darkens the screen. While mirroring, open your navigation app and adjust height and width while looking at the bike display: the image changes as you move the slider. The green box can be dragged wherever you like and disappears when you darken the screen. The sliders and the preview have been removed from the main page: everything is adjusted from there. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) If the display is paired but does not answer, the notification now says the right thing: remove "CQKY" from the phone's Bluetooth devices and restart mirroring, stopped and near the bike. 2) The window about the bike network without Internet has been rewritten: it suggests the safer moves first, tells you to do it while stopped, and shows the network password. 3) The diagnostics record more about the network, the battery, Bluetooth pairing and the handlebar buttons, to understand problems sooner.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES 1) There is a new item under permissions: "Mirroring keeps running while you use other apps". Some phones block KF Mirror as soon as you switch to another app, for example the ones you use for navigation, and the bike display stops showing your screen. The app now tells you about it and takes you where you can change it. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) If the bike display will not pair, the app now notices and tells you what to do. Before it kept retrying in silence, even for minutes, while you were standing in front of the bike: now, after a few seconds, it asks the phone to pair the display, and if that is not enough it tells you to redo the pairing from the Bluetooth settings. 2) When you cannot reach the bike, the notification now names both things to check: whether you are close enough, and whether the ignition is on. Before, it only told you to turn the ignition on. 3) On OPPO, realme and OnePlus phones the button on the "App always active" item takes you to the app settings. From there the battery entry is one tap away, and it is the same page you find when you go and check: set it there and the two screens stay in agreement. 4) After an update the diagnostics no longer start from scratch. If you report a problem, whoever helps you can also see the previous days. 5) In the permissions page and in the per-brand pages, the battery items now talk about background activity, the wording your phone uses when it talks about battery. 6) Other internal fixes.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The English and Spanish translations of the app have been improved. If you use the app in one of those two languages, you now get exactly the same instructions that Italian users read. 2) The app tells you more accurate things when the bike does not connect. It used to say the bike WiFi network was off even when it was on, and it did not offer you the button to choose it. Now the button is there, and the messages only say what the app has actually checked. 3) The message that appears when the diagnostics do not go now points you to the move that works. It used to tell you to check your signal, which did not help you. 4) If you report a problem, the diagnostics you send arrive more complete. Whoever helps you understands what happened without having to ask you more questions. 5) The diagnostics also say what time things happened according to your phone. Whoever helps you understands the timing even if you live in another country, without having to ask you anything else. 6) While the bike display is showing your screen, the app no longer rebuilds the Bluetooth connection. It used to rebuild it every ten seconds even when everything was working, and on the phone you could read that it was retrying while it was in fact already connected.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The app now recognises the bike's WiFi network more reliably. Some phones keep a mobile operator service network switched on, which looks like the bike's one: when the app confused them, the bike's display stopped showing the phone screen shortly after opening it. The app now tells the two networks apart and only uses the bike's one.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) On Samsung phones the app now tells you exactly what to do when the bike network takes the Internet. That way the navigator keeps loading maps while the mirroring is running. The instructions are tailored to Samsung phones, where what works is not the same as on other phones. 2) The battery saving now also covers the time before the bike display comes on for the first time. If the display takes a while, or you are still sorting something out, the phone stops preparing images nobody is watching: it runs cooler. 3) If the connection with the display breaks, for example because you walk away from the bike, the app rebuilds it by itself when you come back. Before, in some cases it kept waiting, and you had to stop the mirroring and start it again.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The connection to the bike display stays reserved for the bike network. If you start mirroring while the phone is still on another WiFi — home, garage, workshop — the app keeps that connection for the bike instead of opening it on the other network as well. 2) If the connection to the bike display closes on a network error, the app tries to reopen it by itself. Before it stayed closed, and the only way back was to stop and restart mirroring from the phone — exactly what you cannot do while riding. 3) When the bike display is not showing the mirroring, the app stops preparing frames that nobody is watching. It uses less battery and runs cooler, above all on long trips where the display stays on the bike screen for a long time. 4) The diagnostic report goes through even after many hours of mirroring in a row. Before, in a very long session without ever reopening the app, the file grew too large and stopped being sent. 5) The app asks the bike display its name and what it can do, and writes the answer into the diagnostic report. It helps whoever is assisting you to recognise your model instead of guessing it. 6) The button that takes you to the permissions now says where it takes you. It used to be called "Open settings" but it opened a page of the app, not the phone settings. 7) If the phone closes the mirroring, the alert tells you what really happened. When you were already using "Dark screen", the app no longer suggests using it: it says so, and it writes into the diagnostic file how the phone was at that very instant, reading by reading. Whoever assists you has far fewer questions to ask you.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES 1) If the bike display cuts the top and the bottom off the phone's image, you can now put it right with the sliders. It only happens on some 800X versions: in those cases, the image the phone projects does not fit. Move the «Height» slider a few notches to the left, until the bike display shows the whole image of what you see on your phone. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) When the bike display stops projecting the phone screen, the app tells you what you have to do on your own bike. Before, the app listed the instructions for every bike, and the phone could not show all of that text in the notification drawer. 2) If the phone's WiFi is off, the app tells you before you start mirroring. Before, the app said nothing, and you found out when the bike display stayed empty. 3) If the phone takes away KF Mirror's permission to use the network, the app notices it and explains how to give it back. Without that permission the app cannot send the diagnosis. 4) The app writes more information about the bike and the phone into the diagnosis, for whoever is helping you. 5) The advice about the bike's WiFi network doesn't come back on every ride. The app tells you the first time, while you are still setting that network up. As soon as it has seen that everything is fine — the bike display is showing your screen and your other apps still have the Internet — it stops repeating it. 6) The app no longer blames another app when it is the network that is dropping. Sometimes it said another app was holding the connection and sent you off to uninstall it and restart the phone, while it was the bike's WiFi network disappearing at that moment. Now the app tells the two apart and tries again on its own. 7) The app draws a more detailed image on the bike display, above all on small text. You notice it when the image is made smaller, that is with the «Height» slider moved to the left. Not every phone can do it: it depends on the phone's graphics, and on some the image stays as before.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The Bluetooth connection to the display no longer gets stuck halfway. If opening the command channel to the bike failed — a stale cache on the phone, a momentary refusal by the display — the app sometimes hung and the only way out was Stop and Start. It now remakes the connection by itself, as it already did in the other cases. 2) The reminder to update comes back as it should. If you postponed with "Later", it sometimes never reappeared until you restarted the app: now it comes back after 24 hours. 3) On Sony phones, the notice explaining why the app closed now appears even if you put the phone on charge. Before, charging could make that explanation disappear. 4) Several stability fixes around starting and stopping the mirroring, the notification at the top of the screen, the dark screen and picking your bike from the list: the app is sturdier in tricky moments and the diagnostics log tells better what happens.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) On some phones the bike display stayed black, even when everything else worked. The cause has been found: it was an invisible window the app keeps on top of the other apps so the phone screen doesn't turn off. That window is now one pixel wide and no longer ends up inside the image that reaches the bike. It mainly affects HONOR phones. 2) If you have a Samsung with Android 16, the app now gives you the right instruction when the bike network takes the Internet away from your navigator. It used to tell you to delete the bike network and connect again, which on those phones did nothing: now it explains how to mark that network as a "metered" network, which is what actually works. 3) The "Send diagnostics" file says three more things. Whether the phone's auto-rotate is on, how many signals the phone really sent to the bike display, and whether the display versions reached the developer. They help understand a problem you can't see, faster.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The app makes the connection again by itself when the phone stops accepting commands towards the bike display. Before, the app stopped sending commands and did not try again: the bike display stayed on the last image it had received, and to start again you had to tap «Stop» and restart mirroring. 2) The phone sends the bike display a signal every two seconds. Before, the phone only answered when the display wrote to it first. A display that no longer receives anything from the phone can close the connections, and mirroring stops. 3) The app tells Android how to connect to the bike display. The display accepts two connection modes, and until now Android made the choice: now the app makes it, like the bike's official app. 4) The app no longer warns you by mistake that your other apps have lost Internet. Two parts of the app could recognise the bike's network at the same moment, and the second one checked Internet at the wrong time. 5) The «Send diagnostics» file holds more information. The app writes the bike display's three versions, the phone's brand, the build code of the installed system, and how the phone compresses the video.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES 1) A blue banner at the top of the screen now tells you a new version is out. Before, only a window at app startup said so: if you were busy with something else at that moment, you missed it and it did not come back for a week. The banner stays until you update. If you are not interested in that version, tap «Hide» and the banner goes away. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The «Send diagnostics» file is more precise about why mirroring stopped. Some lines could point at the wrong cause: now the app only writes what it actually measured, and it tells a phone problem from a bike problem more clearly. If something goes wrong, tap «Send diagnostics». 2) The window announcing a new version comes back the next day, not after a week.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The «Send diagnostics» file tells much more about what happens between the phone and the bike. Before, if you sent the diagnostics while the problem was happening, the file was left without the most important information: now the app writes it down even while mirroring is on. The file says at what time the bike sent its last data, which connection closed first, and how long each run lasted. If something goes wrong, tap «Send diagnostics»: the file says on its own whether the problem is with the app, with the phone or with the bike, without you having to remember anything.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) The little green button didn't say what it was for. Now, the first time it appears, for a few seconds it carries the words for what it does: it darkens the screen and blocks accidental touches. Then it goes back to being small. 2) If another app is already using the bike's display, the app now tells you. It used to say to check that the bike's ignition was on, sending you to look for the problem on the bike instead of on the phone. 3) The "Technical log" is gone. It was the black box at the bottom of the screen: it was no use to anyone using the app, and what it held already goes into the file that "Send diagnostics" sends. 4) The "Send diagnostics" file says far more than before. The app now writes, minute by minute, whether the bike's display is receiving the image, and it notes when the phone's screen turns off and when you leave the app. If you have a problem, tap "Send diagnostics": the file that reaches the developer explains what happened, without you having to remember anything. 5) If the phone's Bluetooth is off, the app now tells you. Before, the alert told you to turn the bike's ignition on, even when all you had to do was turn the phone's Bluetooth back on.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) On some phones the bike display stayed black, even when everything else was working. The app now notices it by itself and tries to bring the image back while you ride. 2) When the phone warns you that the bike's network doesn't reach the Internet, the app was giving you advice that didn't work on many phone brands, and that advice disappeared exactly when you needed it. The app now tells you step by step what to do, the advice stays on screen, and it tells you how to put things right if your choice goes wrong. 3) The app said the bike's display was receiving while a yellow box just below said the opposite. The app now says one thing only. 4) The orange warning kept blinking even after you left the screen, draining the battery for nothing. The warning now stops. 5) The app couldn't send the diagnostics exactly while the problem was happening. It can now. 6) The red exclamation mark on the ☰ menu told you something needed fixing, but not where. The same exclamation mark now also appears next to "Permissions and requirements", which is the item to open. 7) On some phones with Android 11 or older the screen brightness didn't go down when you tapped the green widget with the moon, but the app said it had darkened the screen. The app now tells you the truth and explains how to lower the brightness by hand.

  ⭐️ NEW FEATURES No new features available. 🚧 BUG FIXES 1) On some types of phone the bike display still stays completely black. The problem is not fixed in this version: what has been updated is the app's internal diagnostics, which now look into what happens, in detail, while it happens. If it happens to you, try for a minute on the bike and send "Send diagnostics" from the ☰ menu: that is what it takes to find the cause. 2) When the display is black, the app no longer gives you a wrong explanation: it used to say "you are sharing a single app" even to people who had chosen the whole screen, and it sent you looking for the wrong thing. 3) On some phones the connection to the bike display keeps dropping and starting over. Here too the problem is not fixed: the internal diagnostics have been updated, and now record every drop and the conditions it happened in. If it happens to you, send the diagnostics. *(Versions 1.12.1 and 1.12.2 never left the test phone: this one includes them both.)*

  Bug fixes or compatibility None: nothing was fixed in this version. New features 1) You can now go back to an earlier version of the app. If something stopped working on your phone after an update, you no longer have to wait: the ☰ menu now has an "Earlier versions" entry that takes you to a page on the website with all the versions still available, and step-by-step instructions for installing one. Those versions were there before, but only as a list of files, with nothing said about how to use them. 2) The update notice now also shows which version you have right now, in large type, and invites you to write it down. It is a number you cannot get back after updating, and that is exactly what it is for: knowing which version to return to if something then goes wrong. 3) "Later" now lasts a week. Before, the new-version notice came back every time you opened the app until you updated. If another version comes out in the meantime, the notice comes back straight away: that is different news.

  Fixes 1) On some phones the five taps did not turn the screen back on after using "Dark screen": it stayed black, and the only way out was the "Turn the screen back on" button in the notification, or switching the phone off and on again. The taps work now. 2) In some cases, when you stopped the mirroring, the phone could stay black and no longer respond to touch, and the only way to get it back was to switch it off and on again. That does not happen any more: even if something goes wrong, the screen goes back to normal.

  Improvements 1) Turning the screen back on after "Dark screen" now takes five quick taps instead of three, and you have two and a half seconds to make them instead of one and a half. The reason: with three taps the phone turned itself back on in your pocket. It was measured during a simulated ride, with the bike's vibrations — the screen came back on every 39 seconds on average, because the fabric of the pocket touches the glass and the app cannot tell those touches from yours. Every time it happens the battery drains and the fabric's fingers reach the app you are using. With five taps the pocket manages it far more rarely. The window was widened on purpose along with the number, so the gesture stays as easy for you as before: five taps in a second and a half would have been too fast to get right in the dark and with gloves on. In the "Dark screen" box the number is now written large, inside a green panel: it is the thing you need to remember before you put the phone away.

• Version 1.11.5 August 7, 2026 Not available

  Fixes 1) If you have Android 11 or older, the app told you the bike display would show up in the list on its own and that you did not need to pair it. On those phones that is not true: the display has to be paired from the Bluetooth settings first, and that was the only route that worked. The app now explains it properly. 2) When the mirroring stopped by itself, the app always said the screen had turned off, even when that had nothing to do with it. Now it looks at what really happened: if you were sharing a single app and you closed it, it tells you; if it cannot work it out, it does not make it up. 3) If you tap "Start mirroring" and the confirmation the phone asks for never arrives, the app now tells you. Before, nothing happened and there was no way to know why the bike display stayed dark. 4) When the phone is not on the bike's WiFi network yet, the app now tells the two situations apart. If you are attached to another WiFi network — in the garage, at home — it asks you straight away to choose the bike's one, because the phone will not switch by itself. If you are out on the road, it tells you to wait: the phone connects on its own, and only if a minute goes by without that happening does it ask you to do it by hand. 5) Several messages said things the app does not do: that "Dark screen" switches the phone off (it takes the brightness down to zero, the phone stays on), that Bluetooth stays off when no bike is picked, and that the connections had been rebuilt when they had not. They now say what really happens. 6) A few English and Spanish texts were fixed: two ungrammatical sentences, a word that in Spanish read as "instrument panel" instead of "ignition", and some messages that sent you looking for a button under a name different from the one written on it.

  Fixes 1) On some phones, the moment you lifted your finger off the slider that fits the picture to the bike display, the picture shrank and ended up in the top left corner, and the only cure was to stop the mirroring and start it again. Now the picture stays where you put it: move the slider, look at the bike display, and what you see is already the final result. 2) To turn the phone screen back on after blanking it you now tap it three times in a row, quickly, instead of twice. With two taps the screen sometimes came back on by itself while the phone was in your pocket. Improvements 1) If the bike display stays black, the app now tells you why. When you start the mirroring, some phones ask whether to share the whole screen or a single app. If you choose a single app, the bike display shows only that app, and only while it is open on the phone: as soon as you switch to something else, the bike display goes black. Now the app explains it and tells you what to do.

  Fixes The double tap that turns the screen back on now really works. Before it had to be done in a flash and on the exact same spot: a glove, or a finger sliding a millimetre, and it wouldn't catch. Two normal taps, one after the other, are now enough. When you haven't chosen your bike yet, the "Your bike" box now says so. Before it already showed a name and looked done when it wasn't. If you tap a device that isn't the bike display by mistake — headphones, an intercom — the app tells you instead of accepting it. The bike display is always called CQKY. Improvements The app version can be read on the main screen, under the title: before it was hidden in the menu.

  Improvements The instructions for putting the display in full screen now cover the 800X Rally 2025 as well. Fixes With mirroring on, the phone could seem frozen: it responded to no touch at all, and the only way to get it back was to stop the mirroring from the notification shade. It now works normally. If you are not connected to the bike's WiFi network, the app now tells you so. Before it asked you to put the display in full screen, and you could keep trying for a long time with no result. "Send diagnostics" still explained how to send it by hand from Telegram: it has been going off on its own for a few versions, and now the text says so. Several of the app's messages contained counters and technical words. They now say what is happening and what you can do.

  Improvements «Send diagnostics» now sends the file with a single tap. Before, you had to pick an app, find the chat and attach it: now it goes off on its own and reaches the developer directly, carrying more information about what is going wrong. At the end the app shows you your display's serial number: write it in the Telegram group, so whoever helps you finds your report straight away. Fixes On phones running Android 11 or earlier the app said the bike display would appear in the list by itself. It does not: on those versions it has to be paired from the phone's Bluetooth settings first. The app now explains it properly.

  Fixes It could happen that the app saved a Bluetooth device other than the one you had tapped in the list — the intercom instead of the bike's display, for example. Now only the one you choose stays saved. If you closed the app while mirroring was on, on reopening it you found a notice blaming the phone. That wasn't true: the notice now explains that mirroring stopped because you closed the app, and how to pick it up again.

  Fixes If the bike's WiFi dropped, the app reported that the display had left full screen and asked you to hold down the arrow on the handlebar. The gesture was pointless: the problem was the network. The app now tells the two cases apart and reports the right one. When the bike was recognised automatically, the display serial stayed hidden until you left the app and came back. It now appears straight away. Improvements If the phone goes back to your home WiFi, the warning now also explains how to fix it at once: just select the bike's network again from the WiFi settings, without waiting for the other signal to weaken.

  New If you ride with the map on the bike display, the phone stays lit for the whole trip: it drains, it heats up, and in your pocket it taps itself, opening and closing apps on its own. And you cannot turn it off with the power button, because that stops the mirroring. From this version, as soon as the map appears on the bike display, a small green button pops up on top of every other app, carrying the KOVE FORUM pistons and a moon. You can see it while you are inside Google Maps too. You tap it and your phone screen goes black: the bike keeps receiving exactly as before, and you can put the phone away. To turn the screen back on, two taps are enough.

  Improvements Full-screen instructions now cover the 2026 models too (800X PRO and 800GT). On these models the up arrow is not used: press and hold ENTER for 3 seconds, then choose Screen Navigation → Fullscreen Navi in the bike's menu. The new instructions for the 2026 models will appear automatically in the yellow banner when you start mirroring.

  Six defects found by a code review, each one verified by someone who hadn't found it. Fixes If the connection to the bike didn't start on the first try, the app never tried again. When Bluetooth wasn't usable at the exact moment of starting — off, or just restarted by the system — the first attempt failed and no other one was queued. Yet the screen kept saying "the bike isn't answering, switch the ignition on and get closer: I'm retrying on my own", and it wasn't retrying at all: you could wait the whole ride for nothing. It was a false promise at the worst moment. Retries now always start. From "Start mirroring" the screen permission still led into the dead end. The "Permissions and requirements" page was fixed in 1.6.7, but there was a second route to the same permission — the dialog that appears when you press Start — and it had been left behind. Anyone going that way, on Android 15 or 16, ended up on the switch that won't turn on, with nothing having warned them. That button now opens the permissions page, which already knows the right route. "Other apps will be left without Internet" appeared even miles away from the bike. Any WiFi without Internet was enough — a café with a login page still to fill in, or your home router with the line down — and opening the app produced a dialog advising you to delete the bike's network. The warning now only appears if you really are connected to the bike. From the app in English or Spanish, the "Full guide" button opened an Italian page. The guide now opens in the language you're using the app in. On the English site, numbers were written the Italian way. The app size came out as "5,1 MB", which in English is written "5.1 MB" and read that way looks like a typo. The same applied to amounts on the thank-you page. Spanish was already right, because it writes numbers as we do. In the admin area the payments alert wrote "pagamentoi" when there was more than one.

  Improvements The "screen always on" permission now unblocks from a single screen. The route was timed on the phone, trying both ways: the button now goes straight to the KF Mirror app page, which holds both the permission row and the menu that lifts the block. Before, you landed in the list of every app on the phone — seven seconds of alphabetical scrolling to find yourself — and then had to leave the app and long-press the icon on the home screen to reach the menu. Ten taps instead of sixteen, and no trick to know. The text warns you about what is coming. When you try to turn the switch on, Android answers with a stern warning about denied access and risks to your financial information. It isn't an error — it's the very step that opens the way — but seeing it unprepared is frightening. The app now announces it in advance, and says that right afterwards the phone will ask for your fingerprint. It also explains what the permission is actually for: keeping the screen awake while you mirror, and nothing else. Fixes The explanation now reaches the people who need it. In 1.6.6 nobody saw it: the app tried to work out on its own whether Android was blocking, and always answered no — even with the block active and proven. That guesswork is gone. The Android version decides now: from Android 15 up the procedure is shown, below it isn't, because below it the block doesn't exist. Removed the line about blocked permissions from the technical report, which carried that same wrong value. A diagnosis line that lies is worse than one that's missing. On the website, the "Your phone" page follows the same four steps.

  Improvements Unblocking "screen always on" is now explained step by step, and the button goes to the right place. Testing 1.6.5 revealed that the more-options button — the one that lifts Android's block — isn't there until you have tried to turn the switch on at least once. Version 1.6.5 took you straight to the app info page, where that button hadn't appeared yet: a dead end. Now the button takes you back to the switch, and the text warns you beforehand that it won't turn on the first time, that this is normal, and what to do next. Four numbered steps, each saying which screen it starts from. Fixes The four steps no longer show up for people who don't need them. That block only exists from Android 15 onwards: on Android 8 to 14 the switch simply turns on. The app could previously show the procedure to someone with no block at all, sending them to hunt for a button that doesn't exist on their phone. The sentence about stores is gone. It said the permission was shut "because the app doesn't come from a store": true, but it made people suspect something shady at the worst possible moment. It now says what it really is — a precaution Android takes — without alarming anyone. Anyone still stuck isn't left alone. In the short text too, if the switch won't respond, the app says to write in the Telegram group: brands don't all name things the same way, and there is someone there who answers. The technical report now shows whether Android is keeping permissions shut, so a diagnosis reads at a glance instead of looking like carelessness on the part of whoever sent it. On the website, the "Your phone" page follows the same four steps.

  Improvements If Android won't let you grant the "keep the screen on" permission, the app now explains why. It happens to anyone who installs the app by downloading it from the website instead of getting it from a store: Android blocks that permission and the switch won't turn on, without saying why. "Permissions and requirements" now tells you what to do, and the button takes you straight to the screen where you unblock it. The ☰ menu is now the same on both screens: from the permissions page too you can reach the Telegram group and change the language. And the logo there was still the old one: now it's the new one, same as the main screen. Fixes Closing the app by swiping it away from the recent apps could show "your phone closed the app by itself" the next time you opened it — a wrong explanation of something you had just done yourself. Now, when Android itself says it was you, the app stays quiet.

  What's new The app has its official logo: the green pistons with the navigation pin, as the app icon and at the top of the main screen, with the full name next to it — the same pair you see at the top of the website.   What's new The app now speaks English and Spanish too. In the ☰ menu there's a new entry — "🇬🇧 Language: English": tap it, pick a language, and the app switches instantly — screens, notifications, permissions and the technical log. If you don't touch anything, the app follows your phone's language; if your phone is set to a language we don't have, it stays in Italian. The download page, the version notes and even the PayPal screen follow your language as well. The "Send diagnostics" file stays in Italian whatever you choose: it goes to the app's developer, who needs to be able to read it.

  Migliorie Gli importi del contributo si scrivono adesso con il simbolo davanti — €1 · €3 · €5 · €10 — e non vanno più a capo quando il carattere del telefono è ingrandito: prima l'ultimo si spezzava in due righe e la fila si disallineava. Il seriale del display è più facile da centrare col dito: prima la riga da toccare era alta poco più di mezzo dito, adesso è alta come tutti gli altri comandi dell'app. Il testo non si è mosso, è cresciuta solo l'area che raccoglie il tocco. Il resoconto tecnico adesso scrive quale schermata si apre premendo «Come si sistema», e dice anche quando non è riuscito ad aprirne nessuna e ha ripiegato sulla scheda dell'app. Prima, in quel caso, non scriveva niente: chi segnalava «mi ha aperto una cosa che non c'entra» non aveva modo di farlo capire.

  Correzioni Tredici ritocchi, nessuno grosso. Sono raggruppati per dove si vedono, così se qualcosa non torna si sa dove guardare. Nel riquadro della moto. Con il permesso Bluetooth negato restava a schermo il menù «Scegli il display della tua moto» con dentro una sola voce, che era il messaggio d'errore: toccarla non faceva niente. Adesso quel riquadro sparisce, come già faceva col Bluetooth spento. Nell'avviso giallo. Arrivando a casa — il telefono torna sul WiFi di casa e tu spegni il quadro — comparivano due spiegazioni opposte nello stesso momento: la riga del WiFi diceva di accendere il quadro, e sopra lampeggiava «appena ti allontani smette da solo». Adesso parla una sola voce, quella giusta. Nella finestra «le altre app sono senza Internet». Dopo aver rimediato — eliminata la rete della moto e ricollegato — la finestra poteva ricomparire per un guasto che non c'era più. Adesso l'app guarda com'è messa la rete davvero, invece di ricordarsi com'era. Nel resoconto tecnico. L'avviso su come rispondere alla domanda del telefono si ripeteva a ogni ricollegamento invece che una volta per sessione, e con il WiFi di casa che se lo riprende poteva uscire parecchie volte. E la riga in cui il display risponde diceva «ha accettato l'accoppiamento», una parola che nel resto dell'app non compare mai e che si confondeva con l'abbinamento Bluetooth: adesso dice che il display è pronto per il mirroring. Fermando e riavviando. Se l'invio dello schermo moriva da solo e tu toccavi «Avvia» in quei due secondi, lo spegnimento vecchio poteva portarsi via la sessione appena nata — si leggeva «avviato» e subito dopo «fermato», senza nessun errore. Adesso uno spegnimento riguarda solo la sessione per cui era partito. Sul sito. Dopo il pagamento la pagina diceva «si sblocca da sola»: vero solo riaprendo l'app, non se ce l'hai già davanti. Adesso lo dice. E nella pagina «Registro» dell'area amministrativa spariva un rimando a una query che non esisteva. Il resto sono commenti e testi interni che descrivevano cose non più vere.

  Correzioni Il seriale del display e quello che si copiava toccandolo potevano essere due codici diversi: dopo «Cambia moto» restava scritto quello di prima, ma negli appunti finiva quello nuovo. Adesso cambiano insieme, e alla prima scelta compare subito invece che solo riaprendo la schermata. L'app poteva salvarsi da sola il dispositivo sbagliato — le cuffie, l'interfono — se la moto spariva per un momento dai dispositivi abbinati del telefono: succede riabbinandola, visto che al primo tentativo l'abbinamento quasi mai riesce. Da lì in poi il seriale cambiava e il contributo già dato non veniva più riconosciuto. Chi ha un display che non si chiama «CQKY» leggeva «Prima abbina la moto qui sopra» anche con la moto già abbinata e scelta, mentre la riga sopra diceva giustamente il contrario. Fermando il mirroring, o quando cadeva la rete della moto, nel resoconto compariva «il display è uscito dallo schermo intero: tieni premuta la freccia». Mandava a premere un tasto sul manubrio per un guasto che era da un'altra parte, o addirittura per un mirroring appena fermato apposta. Se l'app era caduta una volta a mirroring spento, la volta dopo che il telefono la chiudeva da solo durante un viaggio non veniva detto niente: l'avviso «il telefono ha chiuso l'app da solo» e i passaggi per impedirlo restavano nascosti proprio la prima volta che servivano. Cambiando il display della moto — garanzia, o un'altra Kove — i sette giorni di prova della moto nuova non cominciavano mai, perché l'app credeva di averlo già detto al server per l'altra.

  Correzioni Se durante il mirroring il Bluetooth si spegneva anche solo per un istante — succede che il telefono lo riavvii da solo, senza chiedere niente — l'app smetteva di cercare il display della moto per tutto il resto del viaggio. Restava scritto che la moto non risponde, e l'unico rimedio era fermarsi, toccare Ferma e riavviare il mirroring da capo. Adesso continua a riprovare da sola e riparte appena il Bluetooth torna. Migliorie Mentre l'app riprova a raggiungere il display, il resoconto tecnico non si riempie più di righe tutte uguali: lo scrive una volta e poi lo ricorda una volta al minuto. Così quando serve leggerlo per capire cos'è successo, c'è ancora tutto il resto.

  I testi dell'app sono stati riletti da cima a fondo: una sessantina di frasi adesso dicono cosa fare, non solo cosa non ha funzionato. Due erano proprio sbagliate: sui Samsung un pulsante prometteva l'opposto di quello che apriva, e una notifica diceva di premere la freccia sul manubrio invece di tenerla premuta. I consigli per la marca del telefono adesso dicono in cima quando servono davvero. E il supporto non è più il forum: è il gruppo Telegram «Kove Forum Mirror».
